Sad to say, a number of GF-friendly places closed this summer, including some of my personal favorites like Rice on Elizabeth and Peter's Diner. I know times are still tough for many, but if you can afford it, please support your favorite GF spots; let's help keep them open! (And if you can't afford it, tell your friends who can!)
Below is the most recent NYC GF-Friendly Eatery List, arranged by neighborhood and borough. Listings are for places I have heard of, from businesses or diners; the venues with asterisks are places where I've personally eaten safely. (If you'd care to make similar notes and share, please do so in comments below!)

Please note: This is NOT a guaranteed safe list! Exercise your usual GF caution before dining, i.e. call ahead, ask about their processes, etc.** This list is a work in progress. (I'll be updating it with new venues and hyperlinks along the way.) I hope it helps get you out in the world more often, enjoying safe social eating with the people in your life. So without further ado:

5 napkin in queens doesn't have dedicated GF fryer for fries and I went there about a month or so ago and they said they couldn't do GF. But bareburger in queens has great GF options for burgers and fries:)
